We know hospital billing has a reputation for being confusing and full of surprises. Ours is simple to talk to: call us, ask anything, and a person will walk you through it. 737-321-0896.
We work with most major commercial insurance plans. Like most physician-owned hospitals, we’re out-of-network, but for emergencies that matters less than it sounds: federal surprise-billing protections mean emergency care is generally covered at your plan’s normal ER benefit level. Call 737-321-0896 and we’ll verify your benefits, before or during your visit.
We’re a licensed general hospital with a 24/7 emergency room, so visits are billed at ER rates, not urgent care rates. That’s what keeps board-certified emergency physicians, CT, and lab here around the clock. Not sure your situation needs an ER? Call us and we’ll talk it through.
Yes. An emergency physician will evaluate you and treat anything serious, insurance or not. For care that isn’t an emergency, we offer prompt-pay pricing, and we’ll tell you the cost before you commit to anything.
Not at this time, so we can’t bill those programs. If you’re having an emergency, come in anyway: we screen and treat anyone with an emergency, regardless of coverage. For anything that isn’t an emergency, our team will walk you through self-pay pricing so you can decide what’s right for you.
Here’s the sequence. We send a claim to your insurance company, usually within two weeks. Your insurer may then send you an Explanation of Benefits, or EOB. It looks like a bill; it isn’t one, and you shouldn’t pay it. Once your insurance processes the claim, we work directly with them on the rest. When that’s done, you may receive an actual bill from us, typically your plan’s ER copay. If anything in that chain confuses you, call us before you pay anyone.
Yes. Call our billing team and we’ll build one around your situation. One conversation, not a committee.
